How we got here

The week before Thanksgiving I was notified that I was impacted by a reduction in workforce for the company I’d been employed by for nearly 30 years. The news was hard to hear In addition to losing a steady income and the security that comes with it, I had grown up with this company, had made countless friends and great memories. After a few days, however, I realized this granted me an opportunity I’d be foolish to pass up. I was granted the freedom to do whatever I wanted with my time for the first time in my adult life. While I’m nervous about making the most of this time that has been granted to me, I’m excited for the adventure.
